A traditional village house, carefully refurbished.
Two floors, a living room with a kitchen corner in the ground floor,
two double bedrooms and a bathroom in the first floor. The stone paved
yard is ideal for having pleasant meals outdoors, sunbathing or just
lying there lazily reading a book. |

 |
In the living room, which occupies the whole ground
floor there is an area where you can have the meals equipped with
a table for six people, a living area and a kitchen area. Everything
in stone and wood. A salamander stove allows the quick heating of
the whole house even in the most chilly winter days. The house is
equipped with a television set, and telephone and Internet access. |

One of the bedrooms of the first floor. Wooden floor,
wooden windows, the traditional stone benches near the window. And
also a large closet. |
|
 |
|
 |
The other bedroom, almost symmetrical. The care
taken with details and the wide use of wood provide a very cosy atmosphere. |

General view of the ground floor room, with light
pouring in. In the background, the dining area. In the foreground,
the living area. |

A corner of the yard. The use of traditional materials.
The “ship” lamps provide a very pleasant light when evening
falls. In another corner, a shower allows you to freshen up outdoors
in the hot days or clean your feet when coming home from the beach. |

The kitchen area. Taylor-designed and made furniture
that “hide” cupboards, a refrigerator with freezer, the
dish washing machine and the water heater. It is a fully equipped
and very ergonomic kitchen where wood and blue limestone, typical
of the Lisbon region, are extensively used. |

 |
|
 |
The living area. A large couch that you can turn
into a double bed. A television set and, for the chilly days, the
cosiness of the salamander stove fire. |
